If Marijuana Becomes Legal in Rhode Island
Lawmakers are seriously considering the possibility of Marijuana becoming legal in the Ocean State. A bottomless state deficit and a crippling economy are just two reasons Rhode Island may legalize the forbidden weed and restrict its sale to those 21 and over.
My question is. How would legal marijuana change Rhode Island?
Rhode Island with Marijuana Legalized
State Troopers would pull you over for going under the limit.
All you can eat buffets would no longer exist.
Car fires on Rte. 95 would have drivers pulling over to toast marshmallows.
Visine sales down 50% at CVS.
Police administered sobriety tests would have you singing the words to Magical Mystery Tour by the Beatles instead of reciting the alphabet.
Stop & Shop’s Marijuana section would feature “Coffee Milk Kush”
Chef Terranova’s “Cooking With Class” would become “Cooking With Grass”
The workday would start at noon.
Channel 12, WPRI’s Mike Montecalvo would begin the news by asking, “Wazzzzzzz upppppppppppppp?”
Del’s Lemonade would be the Official Cotton Mouth Cure of Rhode Island.
Greenville would become the capital city
Road Rage and giving other drivers the finger would be replaced with Road Love and giving other drivers the peace sign.
Handcuffs would become unnecessary. When arresting you, a police officer would simply open the back door of the cruiser and toss in a Ring Ding. You’d follow willingly.
Connecticut has 2 casinos. Rhode Island has legal weed. Your move, Connecticut.
It would definitely pass the time while waiting in line at the Registry.
Workplace violence incidents would drop drastically. Taking its place would be workplace obesity.
Surgeons at Rhode Island Hospital would finally begin operating on the correct side.
The Cardi’s Furniture commercials would be funny.
Stay tuned for MORE ways RI would be affected by the legalization of Marijuana.
