A Lincoln Police Officer appeared before a judge this morning and pleaded not guilty to a charge of "kicking a handcuffed female suspect in the head".

Allegedly, the woman was causing a disturbance at a bar inside The Twin River Casino last month and apparently kicked the police officer after she was placed in handcuffs. The officer allegedly responded by kicking the suspect in the head.

The suspect said that immediately after being kicked, she heard bells. Well, to be fair, she was inside the casino. Everyone heard bells.
