What’s funnier than a clam cake falling into your coffee milk? The Ocean State Collies, of course? RI’s own Charlie Hall has come up with yet another production about RI life he knows you're gonna love. The Ocean State Collies is a K-9 musical extravaganza, using eight (Yes, I said eight) trained collies who sing, dance and lick their way into your hearts and wallets. Seen the Follies? Fear not! The Ocean State Collies is a breath of fresh doggie air! The show centers around the dogs of famous Rhode Islanders who meet once a week at Waterplace Bark (get it?) to discuss their eccentric owners. In the show you’ll see REAL collies playing the parts of…. Buddy Cianci’s dog, “Marinara” Gov. Don Carcieri’s dog, “Taxes” The Big Blue Dog (Yup, you got it! The collie owned by The Big Blue Bug! Is that funny, or what?) Patrick Kennedy’s dog, “Ambien” Arlene Violet’s Dog, “Sister” (dressed in a super-cute nun habit ha ha!) Gary Ley’s dog, “Flurry” or “Doppler” (We haven’t decided yet!) Chief Sachem, Matthew Thomas’ dog, “Smoke” And one special guest doggie per week! The dogs are voiced by Charlie and his zany crew (They hide behind a curtain. Now THAT’s funny!) Here’s what they’re saying about The Ocean State Collies: “It’s Bark fa’ Nuttin’ funny!”- Fido Rezendez, East Providence, RI
“It’s Fetching!”- Tinkerbell Johnson, Woonsocket, RI “Throw Charlie a bone! I loved it”-Scruffy Sanchez, Providence, RI “I give it 4 paws up” Michael Janusonis’ dog “Critic” The Ocean State Collies is appearing at several venues throughout Rhode Island. Tickets ON SALE now! (Please, no balls or sticks allowed during the show)
